![]() GiselleI am a Native of Argentina and have been with Nativa since 2006. I have a degree in Marketing and Business Administration and I have really enjoyed watching this company grow throughout the years. Nativa went from having a store in Encinitas and a small store in Hillcrest to now operating three large showrooms and forecasting further additions. The key to this success has always been passion for the products that we sell and an organizational structure that allows all employees to excel as they find their niche of expertise within the company. Along with my fulfilling career at Nativa I have also greatly grown with my family over these years, my daughter Mia is three years old and Emma is soon to be six months old! |
![]() John-PaulFor the past 20 years my passion for design has derived from the fundamental elements of architecture. I believe that a beautiful piece of furniture is art, and that all great design is established through a few key properties: function, scale, texture, and color. I have created award-winning designs for commercial and residential clients and have been a featured designer in San Diego Home and Garden, Better Homes, and Gardens, Dream Homes, Sunset, and Western Interiors. In 2006 I was named who's who in Design. I like to create comfortable, elegant, livable space that suit my clients lifestyle with an eclectic mix of furniture and design elements. My job is to achieve your design goal and dreams while making it an enjoyable process. |
![]() FranciscoBorn in Hollywood California son of a Texan American father and a El Salvadorian Mother, I have had the privilege to live and experience Hollywood at its best!!! I have also worked in the furniture business for over 10 years and in so doing I have cultivated my style of selling casual but with a punch of customer service. Something you would probably never guess about me is that at a young age I was bit by the acting bug and have been on a series of tv shows and commercials. I played a construction worker in Six Feet Under's risqué "Back to the Garden" episode and I was also featured as myself in the biggest reality TV show for Telemundo and NBC called "La Cenicienta." I have always been driven to do what I love, and that is the secret to my daily happiness and success. Nativa is very exciting to me because the products are not only beautiful but the prices are great as well. Here I can share my passion for Art, Design and Architecture with everyone who comes into the store, can't wait to meet you! |
![]() LauraDuring the past 15 years I have moved with my family from my native Argentina, to Chile and Mexico before settling down in San Diego. Along that crazy journey of constant new cities and homes I began to paint as a creative outlet for all the new experiences I was undergoing. Today that hobby has become one of my professions, and my artwork is always featured at Nativa. My goal at Nativa is to help our customers find balance, originality and comfort in the pieces that they seek. I approach design the same way as I do with a blank canvas, where the pieces of furniture and the objects of decoration find their just space in order to form a beautiful work of art that reflects the taste and personality of the creator. My resulting interiors have a mixture of my Latin passion with my sensibility to the relaxing costal living I enjoy here in Southern California. |
![]() JulieI was born and raised in Southern California and I attended Mesa College Design Program in San Diego. Ever since I was little I have been interested in interior design; I used to rearrange my bedroom all the time to keep it fresh and new. As an adult I continue to do this, the only difference is that now I can help other people rearrange their rooms as well! I feel that if you have something you love, no matter what style it is (traditional, contemporary, rustic, funky, etc.) it has the potential to work with the rest of your furniture. I ran my own business for 6 years, Refined Redesign, where I used what my clients already owned as well as helped them find the key pieces they needed to turn their homes into comfortable living spaces that represented them. I love working for Nativa because I believe in our quality of furniture and I feel great at the end of the day knowing I was able to help my customers make the right choices for their home. |
